Old Houses of Lithuania is the long-term documentary project capturing the vanishing soul of rural Lithuania.

Since 2006, Old Houses of Lithuania has been a quiet, continuous journey through the shifting landscapes of the Lithuanian countryside. What began as a personal fascination with aging wooden architecture has evolved into a two-decade-long visual archive.

Working exclusively with film photography, this project captures the honest, unvarnished grace of abandoned and decaying homes before they disappear entirely into the earth or memory. Every frame is a time capsule—preserving the rich textures of sun-bleached timber, overgrown gardens, and the lingering presence of generations past. This is not just a documentation of architecture; it is a visual monument to a disappearing world.
